I’m a mineral right owner of 8.9 acres in Section 1-33-69 Converse County with a working oil well on the property. I recently learned that our 640-acre drilling unit was pooled with an adjacent 640-acre section of land for a new 1280-acre drilling unit. My question is, now that the units have been combined, will I get benefit of the oil from the new 640 acres along with the oil royalties from our current 640-acre drilling unit? Is there a percentage breakdown as to how the new 1280-acre drilling unit will split the royalties?
