Pipeline Permitting and Devon Buy Out of lease block

I have information that Devon Energy purchased a group of leases in Houston County in the general area west of Lovelady. A person I know said that Devon is trying to buy a pipeline easement from him and neighbors. This property is located several miles west of Lovelady on FM Rd. 1280.

The surveys this is located in and near are the John Chairs Survey A-242 and the W.W. Pressick Survey A-67. There is going to be a lot of drilling activity in the Pressick Survey. Western Chief has a permit there on the Texas Railroad Commission.

Mineral owners who have not leased in these areas can “write in their own checks.”

I assume that you mean north of Hwy 21 west, right. If you will give me a call I can probably tell you more than trying to type it on this forum
