Hi. We have recently had a company contact us about putting an oil/gas pipeline through our property. They have the standard two or three page Easement that they want us to sign.
Does anyone have a copy of an easement that also protects the property owner? I understand there is an 8 or 9 page easement that is better than the standard one offered by the pipeline company.
My cousins are wanting to do this right away and I am more hesitant. We are in the Bakken area of North Dakota.
