Last September Pioneer announced that they were looking to divest themselves of their Barnett Shale assets (including moving their rig and other operations out of the area) and focus primarily upon their Wolfcamp and Sprayberry assets. However, yesterday, they announced they are changing their plan as detailed below. Good news for all Pioneer fans in Montague County.
