RRC Texas - Online Research Queries - Drilling Permit (W-1) Query. When the operator files with RRC that well has been spud, then on the Permit page, a box called Completion Information opens. This is located between Status and General/Location Information boxes, near the top of the page. The Completion Information will list Spud Date and Surface Casing Date. If you post the operator and well name, then someone may have some information about the plans.
