Penn Virginia stock, Cudd Energy

Just looking for input on...

with all the Penn Virginia wells popping up in Lavaca County north of Shiner,

how will the stock be affected? The stock seems to be low and at times

up and down with no real change.

On Saturday eve, entering I 10 at Flatonia headed to Houston, I counted 23 eighteen

wheelers with the name Cudd Energy. They were in a caravan hauling oilfield

equipment and exiting at the Flatonia exit. Any idea where they were going?

Dorothy,

The stock price of established exploration and production companies is most effected for the long term by how efficiently the company adds to its reserve base. If a company spends capital wisely through good geologic and engineering practices and not only replaces the produced reserves but increases its proven reserves as well, the price will go up as long as product prices remain constant when adjusted for inflation. As with most things, it is the quality of the acreage held and wells drilled, not the quantity.
