Hello everyone,

My name is Wendy, I'm new at posting, but have been reading and searching your site for some time. Everyone is so nice and I have been able to learn a lot just from the posts. I am waiting for a call from Parsley Energy today, we are going to talk about a lease in the Trees Ranch project. Does anyone know about this?They have already hired Dawson Geophysical to do 3D imaging on the property. I need to know what leases are going for in that area. I have heard $2000- $3000 an acre? My interest is in Blk. 8 Sec. 51 H&GN R.R.survey. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Wendy, I would go slow! Looks like you are in an area with Wolfcamp potential! Cimarex is moving your direction.

Parsley offered $1000 an acre, and said that was the highest they would go. They first said $750, but I said that was way too low. Do you mean I should wait on a lease until Cimarex comes in? Maybe I should call them, are they the big operators in nearby areas? The "Trees Ranch" project is Parsleys, where I'm at, and yes, I think there's good potential there with Wolfcamp. Hi Wendy, You need to talk with Kelly Ford at Cimarex. She’s the lady that leased me in Culberson County. Tell her that Rick Linkenhoger gave you her telephone # (it should help). Her number in Midland is (432) 620-1966. Let me know if need anymore info.

Thank you, I think I'll give her a call, I just want to get the best offer I can. It'll be locked in for at least three years, and probably two more after that.

Hi Wendy, I know it's been awhile since your post, but, did you have any luck with Kelly Ford Reese at Cimarex? I have some Mineral Interests in the same area I'm looking to lease. Thank you!

Hi Alisia, no I had no luck with a lease. We are looking to sell now if you know anyone who may be interested please let them know. Thanks, and good luck leasing.
