Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Penny, AC means active. I think they are holding your section by production from that one active well. They may not want to start Woodford production because it’s a secret. I would call the OCC number and talk to Donna, give her your legal description and ask her if AEP is holding the entire section by production from the active well. OCC needs to hear about this type of activity because AEP has not been paying mineral owners. Keep checking for changes on the status of the Woodfords.

We are totally clueless about our royalties in Payne County. Would appreciate any info anyone can provide with regard to why we received royalties for June and July production but none for April and May for a well that started production in April. OTC shows production in April and May. Thank you.

Jeff, May gross volume of oil was 8147 barrels, April gross volume of oil was 9915 barrels. Sunoco is the purchaser. https://www4.oktax.onenet.net/GrossProduction/PublicSearchPUNbyLega…

Martha, thank you for the information. Really appreciate the info you bring to this discussion. I’ve learned a lot about the industry here!

Martha you are a fount of knowledge, which means I will keep asking! That other well in the section 2 is by another producer, 9998, not AEP, but I do not know who. I cannot seem to get to the next level because when I click on the spyglass nothing happens. Will need to try another computer tomorrow. But the question is what exactly do you mean by. " holding the section by production" if the one active well is not theirs?

Martha, the well is at 26-18n-04e. Thank you for any insight you can provide.

Sam, What is the legal description of the well?

Sam, Later half of May 2014, Calyx sold wells to AEP, so Calyx should be responsible for payment prior to AEP’s starting production date. You might give them a call. http://www.calyxenergy.com/operations/

Thanks Martha. If I interpret your answer correctly, Devon now has been granted a permit to drill up to 4 new wells (depending upon the factors you mention in your response) and the results will be reviewed again on 5/12/15?

Can someone please help interpret a court docket result for me? We received notice in the mail that Devon had applied for increased density for 3 new wells in my section and the case would be heard on Sept 30. When I looked at that week’s docket, there was an application for increased density and not 3 but 4 applications for Location Exception. Upon reviewing the Docket results, the notations are : Increased Density (R circled, and REC). For the 4 Location exceptions (R circled, I/O REC reopen 5/12/15). I know the REC means Recommended but why is there a reopen date of 5/12/15? And could they have changed their mind and decided they need 4 wells instead of 3? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Much appreciated Martha.

KDM what sec are you referring to. I am still waiting to hear something from Devon on a well that was drilled last Dec in Sec 28,T20NR2E. Last I talked with Devon they told me maybe Nov they would know something.

Sandy

Penny, Leases expire when there is no production. AEP is coding the Woodfords confidential, however the OCC should be able to tell you if AEP or AEW is holding the Woodford wells by production. AEW stands for American Energy Woodford which is an affiliate of AEP and may be the other producer.

KDM, Capturing bypassed oil in an infill well development program is highly complex and acquires good well hydraulic communication and sufficient volume. Low pressures areas can identify zones that result in increases in production. As they are drilled and completed, your wells will be closely monitored for variant pressures to determine additional wells and their locations.

KDM, You are correct.

Sandra, I am in 29 19N 01W. It looks like your well had first sale on 5-18-14 and tested 27 BOD and 22 Mcf. They have 6 months to send your first check so you should see something by Nov 18. Otherwise they would owe you interest on unpaid royalties.

Thanks again, Martha!

G win if you want to accept my friend request I will give you my # and go over it with you.
