What name is the interest in?

I’m sorry, Ron… are you talking about whose name is on the deed?

I found a lease from Lynn Milburn Abernathy Lansford to Truevine Operating signed 9/25/12 and recorded 10/19/12 Book 2052 page 184 & 185 for E/2 SW/4. Nothing on Vera Milburn that I could find.

Lynn Milburn Abernathy, Vera Milburn. Thanks.

Found it Ron! Misfiled… Thanks a bunch for helping me with that. Now to get a division order!

Permit

Payne: Devon Energy Production Co. LP; Aldridge 27-19W-1W No. 1MH Well; NE1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 (SL) of 22-19N-01W; TD 10,542.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has signed off on the final orders for well spacing. Devon Energy Logan 36-19N-2W and Payne 31-19N-1W. Anyone know how soon they could be drilling? The orders also pooled everyone with mineral rights in the sections.

Larry, I found the spacings and location exceptions but no posting for a pooling filing. It would take a month at least after they file for a pooling to get an order. Then they could start drilling if they want to. Most of these poolings are good for up to a year.

Ron, should I receive another legal document when they pool everyone up?

If you are leased you normally won’t get notice of pooling unless you leased after the paperwork was underway on the pooling.

I received an unsolicited offer from Cana Woodford Resources in January for my mineral interest in Logan County for $2500 per mineral acre. I am not going to accept like Kirk.

Payne: Calyx Energy LLC; ER No. 3-1WX Well; NE1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 (SL) of 03-18N-03E; 270 barrels oil per day, 254,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 12,619.

Calyx Energy LLC; Metcalf No. 25-1MH Well; SW1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 (SL) of 24-18N-03E; TD 6,845.

I received another unsolicited offer of $2250 an acre to purchase my minerals in northern Payne County. The most interesting fact is that the offers are now nearly 3 times larger than 6 months ago. It’s certainly a temptation as the offers are very substantial but no. I spoke with a trusted friend at Mobile Oil and he felt the offers are about 1/5 to 1/8 of the real value.

I have mineral rights in Section 17, Township 18 North, Range 5 East. I was told by the landman that all leasing will be “shutting down” on 3/1/13. How can I find out if this is really true?

It does not matter.

Kirk, where is your interest?
