I have received interest in selling my mineral rights in Payne County Okla and am wondering the going price. We have had one horizontal well drilled (Ethridge 36-2 WX) and production was stopped in 2019. Any help would be appreciated. Bruce
We were offered 10x what they leased each acre for from 2 different companies and 2 different leases recently, and this is before any drilling has been done.
If you will post the section, township and range, we can give information on current leasing and activity nearby. Buyers usually know more than the mineral owner about pending activity. They tend to start lowball, so you need more information.

No current leasing in 1-17N-4E, but there is a bit two sections north. Contango flied a pooling clarification case in section 11 catty corner to clear up some issues, so they are interested in the area. If you have no need to sell, then you can sit back and wait. If you need to sell, then most offers start out low and you might be able to get a bit more.
