Pawnee County Mineral Deed

I am in the process of transferring my ownership(Tract 2 in West 90 acres of SE/4 of Sec 23) from my own name to my trust. Does anyone have a sample mineral deed I could use?

Also have a letter indicating possible ownership in Nixon #2, NE/4 Sec. 23-20N-6E. Think this may be a typo and NE was transposed for SE. County Clerk can not do research, but I would really like records search so that new deed can include correct legal title to all that I own...

Any help on the deed, records search, and/or information on the potential of this land would be greatly appreciated. I am new to this forum.

Thank you!

Melody,

The 1002A for the Nixon #2 in Section 23-20N-06E, shows that it was drilled in the SE/4 in 1984. Subsequently, a 1003C for the same section, shows the Nixon # 2 was plugged in 1994. I have attached the two documents for your review.

The last three leases taken out in your section were in 2011, 2012, and 2013, respectively.

The heaviest area of leasing in Pawnee County in the past three months appears to have occurred to the north and west of your township and range.

A search for a general form mineral deed online should provide you what you are asking, but I encourage you to speak with a qualified professional with to assist in drafting your mineral deed.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your information. I am unable to view the two attached documents; however, I am new to this site, so maybe I'm just not seeing where they are.

Interesting that there were leases taken out in 2011, 2012 and 2013, as we have had ownership during that period and have not received any offers for leases since the 1990s.

Any more information you could provide would be greatly appreciated; ie, how do you find 1002A and 1003C?

Thank you!

Sorry about that Melody. It appears they didn't attach when I replied earlier.

You'll need a PDF viewer.

You can always search the OCC website by utilizing their web database interface, or you can navigate to http://imaging.occeweb.com/, click on "Oil and Gas Well Records Forms", then enter your STR. It has its faults, but for general inquiries it should suffice.
