Operating agreemnt

My family owns minerals in Borden County, Texas. We have an operating agreement with Chevron that is producing out of the Sprayberry and Dean. My question is the Wolfberry shell considered a different zone?

Charles,

For purposes of leasing, the answer is probably not. However, if your lease or assignees of your lease put a depth condition on the terms of an assignment or if one is in the lease, it may be a different story.

John,

My father made this operating agreement with many different oil companies back in the 1960s. He always told me there were other zones there that would produce and we still owned these other zones. The legal description from Chevron is that my family’s operating agreement with them?

Where can I find this legal description?
