Mr. Colley:
Would it be possible to get a copy of the lease from you used with Chesapeake deal?
Jim Colley said:AJ - I'd be glad to share it. How would you like me to send it to you? Also, what state are you in?
Note to all requesting a copy of my gas lease. Your email address does not appear in your message even if you type it in. So please send me a friend request with a note giving me your email address and I'll do my best to get you a copy.
Jim Colley
I would love to see a copy.

I would very much appreciate a copy of your lease form as well. What do I need to do to get you to send it to me as an attachment to a email? Thanks.
MIke Hare said:Yes, I too would like a copy of the lease you described as I am currently in the middle of negotiations.

Jim Colley said:The old Producer's 88 is quite outdated and as you said, Carol, it very heavily favors the O&G companies. The lease we did was written by a team of lawyers that used it for themselves and it covers all the bases to make it fair for all involved. For instance, the 88 will make you contribute a share of your royalties to pay for transporting the gas to market and misc other expenses related to production and marketing. Our lease gives us 25% royalties with NO costs deducted.
Again, if you'd like to see a copy, I'd be glad to share it with you.

Mr. Colley, I am sending a friend request to you regarding the lease sample. If you could send me a copy of it, I would really appreciate it. My mineral rights are in Oklahoma and this is our first experience with a lease offer. I have done a lot of research on the topic of lease clauses etc. The landman we are dealing with was very willing to add all of the standard ones such as Depth, Pugh, No Deductions, Shut In, Warranty Delete, and dropping the 2 year option (thanks Buddy). I would like to see yours to observe what I have overlooked before finalizing ours. I am sure there are many items still to consider. Thank you, Randall Mittelstet
Hi Carol,
A lease can be very complicated so I think it good you will have a lawyer, hopefully on that specializes in O&G. If you want to do more research on your own I found this site to be very informative (www.earthworksaction.org/files/publications/LOguide2005book.pdf?pubs/LOguide2005book.pdf).
good luck. Ray P.
