Does anyone know what ONCOR should pay to cross my property? I went to a hearing in Austin and was the only land/mineral owner for the route it looks like they will use (Section 6, Block 54, Township 5, T&P RR survey AB-5826). If it goes to condemnation proceedings I will lose the minerals (It’s free royalty) to the portion they take.
John - from afar, it seems they want a right-of-way for a power line… is that correct? If so, I don’t see them possessing any property… Later - Buzz
Right it is for a power line - but if I don’t reach an agreement on price for a right-of-way they go to a condemnation proceeding and that would give them title to the property they need - the minerals go with the surface.
Maybe you could sever the minerals from the surface?
