Cyndy, It is hurry up and wait for a well to be drilled. No set time table on this. It depends on the type of well and other factors as to how long it takes once drilling starts. Once production starts, you are supposed to start getting paid within 120 days of first production.
There is also a chance that your lease may never see a well drilled. Happens often for a variety of reasons.
