Leases taken by Omimex and Ross Energy and now being marketed by Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc. out of Dallas. They state 652 Fayette and 191 Lavaca leases available for sale.
How interesting. I was told by one landman that Omimex properties were for sale. The same day, I was told by a landman representing Omimex that Omimex leases were NOT for sale, but that they were interested in a joint venture. If they are just going to flip the leases, should mineral owners just wait until the real players step forward?

I understand offers were due Aug. 26 on the Ross / Omimex package being marketed by Energy Spectrum. Has anyone heard whether Omimes found a buyer or “strategic partner” for their package?
