I came across an old lease agreement from 1981 that I would like to research. It was my mother’s and she passed away about 2 years ago. The property is in North Dakota in Divide County, Township 161 North, Range 101 West Section 11: SE 1/4. It is 60 acres and the lease I am looking into was with Tenneco Oil Co. Is there a way to follow up on this sort of agreement or to check the status is for the property?
Murex Petroleum has the Holice 2-11H well. Surface location in sec 2, bottom hole in sec 11. API 33-023-01054 Online in Nov 2013. Still online as of December 2013. Contact them to see if they had a later lease from her.
