There were quite a few Deep Bossier wells drilled starting in the early 1980’s in East Texas. They were all vertical wells, horizontal drilling was not available at these depths at that time. Most all of these wells were not successful for very long. Most were “pressure depleting”. But with Horizontal Drilling available currently, at these depths, and highly improved fracturing technology it’s a whole new “Ball Game”! Making America Great Again!
