In Oklahoma can anyone go to the County courthouse and file an Oil and Gas Lease or assignment even if they don’t actually own it? I only ask because before I purchase a lease I want to make sure it is in good standing. I will have a lawyer check it out as well but just wanted some input, things to ask maybe?
