Just curious what was happening in Grady County mostly interested in section 29, section 31, and section 32. I inherited an interst in these section from my great grand parents I know very little about that part of oklahoma and very little about all of the oil and mineral wells. Any information woukd be greatly appreciated

We would also like to know about activity in Grady County. We have started to receive offers to buy our mineral rights, not interested in selling but just curious. Our properties are as follows: NW/4of t-5N-8W, 2-5N-8W, N/2NWNE11-5-5N-8W. NW NE NW NE 2-5N-8W and NE Nw NW NE 11-5N-8W NW NW NW NE 2-5N-8W and a newer well that I only have SEC 11-5N8W. Review the paperwork which may be probate orders or deeds from a trustee. Keep in mind that there is a difference between having a right to inherit and being able to demonstrate that you are the mineral owner. As always, plan for the next generation through trusts or Transfer on Death Deeds.

Not sure about your first one since “t” is probably a typo. You have horizontal wells in 2 & 11 with room for infill wells, so some one may know something about future drilling.

I apologize for the missing information section Section 31 9N 5W Section 29 T9N R5W amd 32 9N 5W grady county
29&32 have two horizontal wells with Validus Energy Worley Creek 1H-29-32 and 2H-29-32. Also a gas well by Teocalli Campbell 1-29.
31 has a horizontal welll with Camino Natural Resources. Robbers Cave 0905.
If you just inherited, then you need to contact the Division Order department of each company and request that they put you in pay status. You will need probate documents, your driver’s license, etc. If you get offers to buy, don’t be too quick to answer as you need to get these into your name first and paid, plus those sections have room for more infill wells in the future and you might want the royalties from them,

I just received a purchase offer for Section 31 9N 5W and I’m curious about recent activity and future prospects as well.
Welcome to the forum. Camino has the John Phillips 31-6 1MXH that starts in 31 and goes south into 6. They also have the Robbers Cave 0905 31-30-1WXH which starts in 31 and goes north into 30. There is room for several new infill wells in the section, so someone may be interested in the acreage for that. Offers to buy are generally for the current producing wells for a certain number of years at a discounted cash rate. They plan to make money on the additional wells. I tend to hang onto my acres so that we make the royalties instead.

Howdy from Ohio, just checking in to see if 30-03N-06W is any closer to being drillable? Thank you for all of the wonderful information, I’ve learned so much and am able to teach it to the new nieces and nephews, as well as my children and grandchildren!
Good for you for passing on info to the next generations. Sorry, but that section is not going to be economic for a long while. The reservoir is there, but deep hot gas is not as interesting as shallower wet gas.
