I need advice in the best company to possibly lease or sell mineral rights on Section 10 in Okfuskee county. Is Hacienda Resources a good choice to talk to, and if so how do you reach them? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Patty,
At the top of the Mineral Rights Forum main page where it says Groups click on that and then on the right side of the page will popup Oklahoma Counties and scroll down to Okfuskee County and click on that and go from there joining the Group.

Patty,
Okfuskee County is pretty straight forward about transferring mineral rights to family, depending on the family. My family was only 3 siblings. Our situation was a little easier than yours. The mineral rights were in the family trust. Mom inherited it from dad and my brother was the executor of a family trust. No probate. So he signed a quit claim from the trust to me to get it out of the trust as it made closing the trust difficult. I simply took his quit claim deed sent it to Okfukee county and had it recorded into my name. I did it all on the phone and online. The County clerk was courteous and informative. I'd get quit claims from all the siblings and a copy of the deed from the county ($10 for me) and send it all in. They'll charge you for each document recorded and the final deed.
I'm not a professional and I'm positive that I'm not giving you the whole story. Your situation is different, but the first step is finding the deed from the county if you don't have a copy?
