What prices are people getting for their minerals in Kingfisher, OK? Section 25, Township 16N, Range 9 West

I have mineral rights in Sec.25 Township 16N Range 9 West. I have 1\8th interest. Do you have any idea how much it is worth per acre?
You have several fairly new horizontal wells. Are you getting royalties for all of them? If you are getting offers to buy, the buyers want those royalties. They have sophisticated methods of valuing the minerals according to what they think they will produce over time and what the price might be for the oil and gas. If you are not getting the royalties and are an owner, then you need to check into the situation before considering a sale. Ovintiv has most of the wells. If you sell, you may have to pay capital gains tax, so keep that in mind.
The saying for value is “a willing and informed seller under no compulsion to sell and a willing and informed buyer under no compulsion to buy agreeing on a price is what it is worth.” The seller is usually not as informed as the buyer, so do some research before you sell. If you have one mineral acre, that might be considered less valuable than if you had 40 acres.
