I have been watching the oil shale prospects in Montana spread even now to the Rocky Mountain front where there have been exploratory wells recently drilled in Glacier and Teton counties. Does anybody think that would ever expand even further west into the Rocky Mountains into Flathead and Lake county? I have heard nothing of that and wanted to see if anybody else has.

I know several companies that have been exploring into western Montana. The only thing I can say is, I hope they do not drill in Flathead and Lake county, as if they hydraulic fracture that area, in my opinion, could have devastating effects ie. earthquakes. Look what has happened in Ohio. If they fracture and inject in an area with major fault lines, it could be detrimental. Just my opinion...
