It would be more helpful if you add your state, county and section, township and range. The answer is totally dependent upon the location.
well clearly you will need to be notified thru a Division Order meaning that there is a well producing and so in about 5 to 10 months or even longer ! you will then get checks every month if enough sale$ — again a lease doesnt translate into Money. a division order usually does. and that will depend on how the well produces.
