I realize there is a bit of a wait-and-see approach right now with new drilling in North Dakota even with WTI so high right now. After 1 month in Iran now, it appears we’re locked into at least another month, maybe quite a bit longer. Any ideas if companies are shifting perspective on this wait-and-see approach?
Last year I leased Township 159 / 103 / Section 5-6. Curious to know if there’s any changes around this area of the Bakken?
We too own mineral rights in Sections 11 and 12, Townships 159/103. There seems to be some activity very nearby by both Koda and Phoenix. Both have been issued new permits. I think oil prices will not settle nearly as low after this war for a very long time, which is good for us mineral rights owners, not so much otherwise. Pretty sure these oil guys are trying to get their rigs online as rapidly as possible. Just not enough rigs, etc., yet. Good discussion 4theRightChild.
