If you own mineral rights in the SE part of Scurry County, I found an exciting article about oil play in that area (Thunder Valley, Mapache wells). Oil and Gas Investor magazine has an article in the September, 2020 edition titled, “Small Play, Big Wells: Permian Basin’s Horizontal Eastern Shelf.” If you can get hold of a copy, it is an informative article. I ended up paying top dollar to buy a back issue from the publisher, but it was worth it, for me, anyway.
