Oil Permit Changes

Could someone explain what this means? It’s part of the docket for the most recent Oil & Gas Commission in Wyoming. This was posted in The Douglas (Coverse County) Budget Newspaper.

481-2023 / Continental Resources / 1919.23-Acre D&S Unit; Vacate, Amend or Modify Applicable Orders [AMND] / 2.11.14-35-71 / Niobrara / Converse

@mregf, here are some decoding hints. 481-2023 is the docket number. Continental Resources is the operator who is requesting a 1919.23 acre drilling and spacing unit, which amends or vacates previous orders for the same lands. Those lands being sections 2, 11, & 14 of 35N 71W in Converse County Wyoming and affecting the Niobrara formation.

@PeteR Thank you for your help understanding this. I did go to your link and checked the docket out and read through some of the other items to be brought up. Some affect my mineral interests some don’t, it does show some increased activity in some areas to watch.
