My wife and I own 50% of the mineral rights on a 53 acre piece of land in grimes county Texas and we were offered a lease from an oil company, but the info was lost. I would like to lease the property but I didn’t know how to find a reputable company to lease them from me. Anybody have any recommendations? I’m young and dumb so some help would be very much appreciated. : )
Where are they located? I have some in ND, Divide County and am currently in the middle of the leasing process. I sent all my paperwork to my attorney this morning and will probably hear back from them early next week with a new lease on the way.

Where are you located in grimes county? I am in Iola and have been thinking about playing a little bit with some more minerals than what I have? I am not a landman or broker !!!
Joshua, join the Grimes County group, read the posts, and add your inquiry there. Where is your land located in Grimes County? There are many companies leasing and paying $500 an acre bonus and more. A lease is a land mine and it is best to hire a mineral manager or oil and gas lawyer to represent your interest.
I’ll do that. It is on CR 446 in Navasota. Can you tell me a a couple names of a couple companies?
Apache, Enervest, Crimson Exploration, Devon Energy, and Halcon are some of the companies drilling in Grimes County. CML is working more in the northern part of the county.
