Is there any oil and gas activity going on in Block 45 Section 26 in Reeves County, Texas? Thanks
Yes - two 10,000-foot permits by 1920 Energy for Wolfcamp A & B zones. Rig on location - may drill the wells back-to-back. See map below
Back to back? That’s awesome! I haven’t heard of back-to-back drilling before. It seems like in and around this area it’s picking up… It appears this is projected to go right through my land. I don’t know what that means but we’ll see… Thank you for your input!
Both wells would be drilled from the same surface location - surface wellheads would only be about 25 feet apart / easy to move the rig from one to the other. Then they will directionally drill the wells out from that surface location to the lateral wellbore locations.
Once drilled, odds are that they would frac the wells back to back also.
I assume you are leased to the 1920 group?
For future reference, you can find well locations on the Texas RRC GIS mapping site.
No sir, but I do hope to hear from them. I just saw the RRC and they just filed the permits last month. So I think they have two years before the permit expires. I haven’t heard from them…
FYI - map with the two new permits by 1920 (drilling rig) and all other historical wells in this area

Thank you, Sir! It looks like there IS a lot of activity! I’ve never been in this position before so I really don’t know how the process even works but I have electricity and a 20-foot easement and pipelines 4,400 feet from my property currently. So now seeing this it looks like there is going to be some more activity coming up.
