My mother passed away and left my sister and i her oil and mineral rights in and under the NW/4 NW/4 of section 17 township 3 south range 12 east. How do we find out what if anything this worth?
Welcome to the forum. Condolences. Was a probate filed? Was it filed in the county where your mom passed and in Atoka if she did not live there? That is the first step so landmen can find you. Did the executor do an evaluation?
A well was drilled in the SE4 back in 2009, but it was dry. This is not a prolific area (at the moment). The last drilling in the whole township was back in 2010. Dudley Land company as done quite a bit of leasing in the township in 2021, so something is in the works.
