Does anyone know if there have ever been an oil exploration in Evergreen Alabama?
I was told that a geological survey was done in Evergreen Alabama and there was no oil or minerals ever found other than gravel.

I called the geology society in Tuskalusa Alabama and spoke to a geologist he said that they get their evaluations from Oil Companies or counties with regard to minerals in Alabama therefore, an evaluation or survey is based on reports they get from sources not typicly a study.
