AnNyone know going rates for bonus in southern Brazos County. I have almost 800 acres, was producing 3 gas wells in 1980-90s in Austin Chalk now plugged. Our family owns 100% of minerals. We own all 4000 acres surrounding but these are still under producing well leases. We have been approached by 2 or 3 landmen in last month.
Don't know going rate but curious where in Southern Brazos your acreage is located?

I can give you some input on what I have been offered on two different leases in Brazos County in the last 6 months if you want to email me.
I am up in the Tabor area and I signed a 3 year lease with an $850 an acre bonus and 25% gross at the wellhead. I know my area has a big play going on so that did help.
