My husband died without a will. The oil company Drilled a new well and moved over and re drilled his well . Why would this happen ? He passed in 2018 and still in probate . I have concerns but don’t know if I should .

You should contact the operator by certified mail return receipt and ask what you and any other heirs under intestate law need to do to get into pay. They may need the probate or intestate order. Not knowing where this is, a general answer would be that the operator thought there were economic reasons to drill a new well and fix an old one.
