I have done all my due diligence. Reading all pamphlets. How to locate and read my mineral rights etc…. Jeff Whitesell helped me with all the deeds. The last time we spoke. He said to contact him when an Oil company sends me a contract. The question is, An oil company has never contacted me. Do I contact oil companies, do I just wait until they contact me? nt sure how to get some to drill.
An oil company will call you for a lease when their geologist tells them there are good prospects there. Calling them before that happens is wasted effort.

Make sure that your name and address are on file at the county courthouse with your deed or probate title information. If they want to drill, that is where the landmen start their search for owners.

I have looked on the oil and lease map of OK. I don’t see any activity. The legal descriptions are NEW/4 of 6-6N 10E, SW/4 of 6-6N10E, North East quarter of S12 T6 R9E, Northwest quarter of S7 T6N Range 10E. Thank you for responding.
Always helpful to list the county-Hughes NEW/4 of 6-6N 10E- Do you mean NE4 or NW4? -Either way only old wells that are plugged or inactive.
SW/4 of 6-6N10E, - Old wells that are plugged. There some horizontal wells drilled north out of the section, but no perforations in sec 6.
North East quarter of S12 T6 R9E, I assume you mean 6N- no wells.
Northwest quarter of S7 T6N Range 10E. - old wells that are plugged or inactive.
No new leases in the last 24 months. No new OCC cases in the last 24 months.
