Any activity in Section 10 and 11, Township 6 North, Range 5 East?
There some older producing wells in section 11, but no new activity.
I’m trying to find out for a friend, she inherited some royalties in Seminole County, Section 10 and 11, Township 6 North, Range 5 East. Her father’s name was Jimmy Douglas. Her mom told her before she passed that they got a letter stating that they had back pay. Thank you.
The family should search the OK state treasurer’s office for unclaimed funds. If the father lived out of state, also search that state and the state of Delaware (some companies domicile there). Also go to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and look up Mineral Owners Escrow Account on the search button. Search under his name and see if anything is posted.
