Public comment is open for the three salt wells in Monroe County, Ohio. The wells will be used for ethane and NGL storage to support the coming petrochemical renaissance in the Ohio Valley. Well funded out of state groups are already advertising opposition to these wells. We have until February 7th to write in support. This is another attempt to take away private property rights and further condemn our region to poverty. Check out the DNR Division of Oil and Gas Mineral Management for details.
