Welcome to the forum. Several groups are leasing in that township. Probably for horizontal wells. Most of us would prefer the highest royalty offer. If you have not leased recently, then it is wise to get a good oil and gas attorney to review any draft lease as they are not generally in the mineral owner’s favor and need significant edits. If an attorney is not feasible, then waiting for forced pooling is also a good option.

I have received a lease offer of 500/ac 3/16 royalty for Roger Mills sec 24-17N-22W

That is a starting point. Always ask for what they are offering for 1/5th and 1/4 just to see what they say. Offers in sec 36 had up to 25%.
Never take the first offer.
