My mother was contacted about leasing or purchasing oil and gas interests in Tyler County, WV. She did not know she even owned this. The gross acres are 180.51250 with net acres of 0.11430. The lease is for $300 with a 14% royalty. The purchase price is $600. With such a small amount of net acreage is it worth leasing? Leasing or selling, should she try to get a better price? I think there are around 70 people involved with this acreage.
