Does anyone know if a well has been spud or any plans including Stephens County 15-01S-04W?
Nyla- the spacings in this area are different for the different formations. There appears activity for all zones but it depends on where your interest is in the section. There are plenty of Commission filings so you should be getting those if your title is clear & your correct information is filed with the county clerk.
Continental Resources has plans for at least two horizontal wells coming from a surface location in section 22, so well records will be posted there. You already have shallow production from an old field and from the Village 1-15-10XHW horizontal well into the Woodford. Companies often offer to buy royalties right before new wells are drilled. They will not usually tell you about the new wells as that is how they plan to make a profit. Hondo 2-22-15XHM was spud on 11-1-23. Hondo 3-22-15XHM was spud on 11/28/2023.
