My family has mineral rights in various locations in Texas and Louisiana. We just received an offer to buy at $3k/acre. We’ve never thought to sell any mineral rights in the past but we only have a few dribs and drabs in Gaines County (22 acres each for four members of my family) located in Labors 4, 5, 6, 7 (A-328, Schleicher County School Land) and are considering the offer. Thoughts?
Your minerals may be just west of this permitted well. [Use zoom and the higher resolution will reveal what appear to be the labor numbers]

Do you mind sharing the name of the company which made the offer to purchase your minerals?
We received the same offer of $3000 an acre and everyone tells us hold out Gaines County is hot hot hot. We are researching it.
Own approx 200 net mineral acres in Blocks C-31 & C-32 Gaines County. Received the $3,000 offer. Thought I would sell 10 acres to see where they stood. Told them I would take $7,000 per acre. They immediately took it.
I too have received an offer to buy my mineral interests in Section 10, Block G, Gaines County. The offer was for $3,000 / NMA from Mason Oaks Energy, out of Dallas. The most recent lease I have had on these interests expired last January. Because of our age, we are thinking about selling. I would certainly appreciate your thoughts.
