Offer to buy mineral rights in Dunn

Hello,

I recently received an offer to purchase my rights in Dunn.

Township 144. Range 97 Section 26.

I own 30 NMA. Their offer is around $4800 per NMA.

I’ve been informed that a new permit was issued next to my section. Wondering if that’s what’s generating interest.

Anyone else in the area getting offers, and does this sound like a reasonable offer?

IN general, offers often precede the drill bit-or where the buyers think drilling will be. The amount is based upon your royalty if you are leased. In my experience, most initial offers are lower than what they are willing to do-just to see if folks will bite.
