What state are the minerals in? What are some of the neighbors getting for their leases? Always hire an Oil & Gas attorney. I have been leasing for years and I wouldn’t sign a lease until my attorney went over it.

For sure don’t sign a lease with anyone without getting your money up front. I have family that signed their lease without making arrangements for payment and it has been weeks. XXXXXXXXXX keeps making excuses and delaying payment.
