Offer letters and calls

For the last two or more years I have consistently been getting letters and calls about my rights to sec. 18, 15N-18W after being offered 10,666$ they had sent me papers to sign and have notarized blah blah they ended Up sending the wrong forms so I had to redo it which cost me 160$ between expo shipping and notarized signatures they got my Brothers involved as well and now they say if they don’t get a picture of a statement they can go no further I don’t have any statements I have a lease# a lease name the decimal type The section description and the county and State what am I supposed to do here I’ve never had any issues with selling mineral rights as It’s always went I signed the paper Work a week later I got a check

There are two wells in the section. Morton 2-18 which is still active and owned by Mach Natural Resources. The other is Morton 1 which is inactive and is owned by Sooner Oil & Gas LLC. Do either of those match your lease # and name?

Morton 1 Is the well name but the paper work I have come from Kaiser franchise I don’t know what

Any of this means

Not seeing the rest of the document, cannot tell for sure, but looks like a listing of tracts where you have wells under an old lease. Before selling, it is always wise to find out about pending activity. New horizontal wells can make much more money that old vertical wells.

I’ve tried to look into if there are new permits or leases in my section 18 15w18n Custer County but I can’t figure out how to use or understand the occ site

Here is a slide on how to use the OCC wellrecords website. Permits are Form 1000 filed by surface location. If there is a horizontal well, the surface location may be a section or two away.

Check your location. 15W-18N is not in Custer. It is in Dewey. Do you mean 15N-18W? That township is in Custer. The township usually goes first. They are the N & S parts. Ranges are E & W.

if you are in 18-15N-18W, there are no new leases in the last 24 months. The Morton 2-18 well is still active. No new permits at this time. There is active leasing nearby, most likely for new horizontal wells in the Cherokee.

(Scrolled up to your list above and your DO does say 18-15N-18W. Morton 1 had last production in Dec 2018.)
