Offer for sale of mineral rights

Have received an offer to sell my mineral rights from Vector Energy Partners LLC. Has anyone had an experience dealing with this company?

Welcome to the forum. Suggest that you read the threads in Leon County. Many brokers are trying to buy mineral rights in Leon and you need to understand the activity under and near your acreage before making a decision. Buyers intend to make a profit off of their purchases. You need to understand the economic pros and cons of a sale.

Legitimate buyers in Leon County, and they have real money backing them. Good guys, we’ve dealt with them many times and have nothing bad to say.

If your acreage on trend with the new horizontal wells in Leon, then that is why you are getting interest.

I also have been contacted to sell my NMA. I also have another company wanting to lease my mineral rights. I have land in the Copeland-162 survey area

Given the situation in Leon better to lease than sell.

Did you deal with them directly or have the signed deed and funding held by a title company or attorney until funds were verified as has been suggested to me?

you should consider at the very least consulting an oil and gas attorney.

The offers to purchase mineral rights have heated up again, virtually overnight, related to the O.Henson well in Leon County.

Seem to go quiet in December and January but received an handful of new offers just this week.

We’re part of the Irwin Survey - 0421.

It’s likely that the Henson well was frac’d recently, so there may be some early production. It’s possible that is the cause of these new offers.

I too own royalty interests in part of the Irwin Survey A421 as well the adjoining abstracts. Would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you about what is going on in the area and specifically A421. Please let me know if you would find that of value.

For sure…updates are fairly opaque.

Advising to leasing vs selling seems to be too broad a statement in my opinion unless the breakdown of heirs is known. There are many selling in today’s market that have held the property for generations with the % ownership diluted over generations and multiple heirs.

Vector is a good company; however, I seriously doubt they’re offering you what the minerals are really worth, or even close to it. I’m having Venergy Momentum help with the sale of some minerals in the area. It’s best to have a professional handle that if you’re thinking about it.

We are selling Lots 2 & 5 in the Alexander Jackson A 437 Survey, Leon County to Rabbit Run Minerals located in Midland. They have worked efficiently and transparently with us and we would highly recommend the company.
