OCC production records

I'm still learning about this business and have a question. When I go into the corporation commission's website and I search their records for my well, the production records indicate no oil was produced yet on my checks it always shows some oil production. The well is mainly gas but has oil too. A second question I have is one well that pays royalties paid for the first six months of 2012 at a pretty good pace and then quit completely yet it still shows active on the OCC website. Can they just stop production of a gas well? Thank you

The OCC will not have oil records in the database. although you can pull the imaged reporting documents that the purchasers have to submit, but it is not an easy process.

You can search for production at the OCT here https://www4.oktax.onenet.net/GrossProduction/PublicSearchPUNbyLegal.php

Although it will only go back for a year or so and reporting is delayed 2-6 months.

Activity status on the OCC site may not be that reliable. We have a well that has not produced in 9 years still showing active.

What is the API or name location on the well on your 2nd question?
