For those who are following the Montana board of oil and gas website, take a look this week as it appears that Oasis is moving west as they apply for permits for multiple wells sites. They received several permits for sections 4,9,11,21 all in 27N, 58E...which is basically south of Bainville by a mile or so. You'll also notice on the Montana Board of Oil and Gas website that Oasis already have some multiple wells farther east...so maybe they are going to continue to expand and develop this area even further. May we Roosevelt folks only hope!!

I agree that things appear to be getting a little more active in Roosevelt. In my opinion, the one to watch is Continental Resources as they might become the leading player in the area over the next few years. Again, other zones besides the Bakken/Three Forks is in the mix.
