How do you know the number of perforations in your section?
You do not need to know the number of perforations. The SURVEY of the wells (found on the OCC wellrecords site Test) gives the first perforation and the last perforation (hopefully). The percentages of the perforations is what is important. If you have a one section horizontal well, then all the perforations (100%) are in the section. If you have a multi-section well, then the OCC will issue an order that lists the percentages of the perforations in each section.
