Certainly, bomb go boom, Bakken go down. Obviously, Putin will target our oil producing regions
I assume we all agree that nuclear war would have some suboptimal consequences

Attacking the Bakken would be a waste of effort and pretty much moot, wouldn’t you say? If it did happen, I believe oil production could be up and running in analog fashion faster than there would be a market for the product. They could run generators off the wells themselves, sometimes it’s mandated that they do so. No offense meant but I think your post wasn’t well thought out.
