Is there any northern County activity, specifically around Hwy 97 and above?
I am very interested in your request for activity around or near Hwy 97. My property is located approximately two miles East of Pleasanton on the Coughran Road and about one mile South of Hwy 97. It is currently under lease to EOG with one producing well. Their lease is about to expire. I do not do Twitter or Facebook, only Email at jr1221@satx.rr.com or at 210-822-9181. I am a member of Mineral Rights Forum but don’t seem to be able to contact them since I don’t do Facebook or Twitter. I’d be very interested in hearing from you. Thank You Jack Rips
Rick and Jack,
I don’t see any drilling activity around close to Hwy 97 between Jourdanton and Charlotte. Am including a link to 46 approved permits for Atascosa County from December 01, 2013 through January 28, 2014. Click on the link then click on each Lease to view each permit and the location of each well and other info pertaining to each well.

Jack, my property is many miles west of yours, halfway between Jourdanton and Charlotte on Hwy 97 so I am not sure of what use I would be, but my number is 210-683-2769 and email is rvolzassociates@aol.com
Clint you reply that 46 permits have been approved yet judging by your response they must all be in southern Atascosa County. Thank you for your response and info, I will begin to look at these permits.

Thank you both for your very prompt replies. You are quite right that you are a good ways from me, but there has been considerable discussion about shallower formations like the Austin Chalk, Anacacho, and even some parts of the lower depths of the Carrizo. Some people are of the opinion that since those stratas have never been FRACed or drilled horizontally, there might be some possibility of producing them. Keep me posted and thanks again. Jack Rips.
