I just heard from my brother who lives at Waverly that the St. Marys Oracle has published Pleasants County, Lafayette District lease transfers from Noble Energy, Inc to CNX Gas Company LLC. Has anyone heard of this activity, and have they been notified of it by either company? We are currently leased by Noble.
Noble has just permitted a 6H horizontal well (SHR 08 L on the Ash Farm in Tyler County so it's apparent they are still drilling in the area, and CNX is active in Harrison, Lewis and Doddridge counties, so I was wondering what, if anything should I read into the lease transfers.
